Mission Thrift is a thrift store based in Lynchburg, Virginia built by two local non-profits. These non-profits positively impact the lives of vulnerable people and communities locally and globally. Freedom 4/24 reached out to me in September 2022 to create an indoor mural for their space. I was inspired by the business’s drive to give back to their community and wanted to design something special for them.
This is the initial mockup that started it all. Mission Thrift gave me creative freedom, confident that I would be able to communicate their brand’s mission clearly while operating out of their brand guidelines. The final result was built off of this initial mockup. At a little over 11ft tall, this is the first mural I have designed and painted.
